Team Hope is our training team in which participants raise money to benefit people with cancer and their loved ones at Hope Connections. Team members receive a comprehensive training program to help them prepare to complete a relay, marathon, half marathon or other endurance event. Team Hope members can walk or run in a group event selcted by Hope Connections or participate in any event of their choosing (5k, 10k, half or whole marathon, iron man, triathalon, biking event, etc.)
American Odyssey Relay (April 29-30)
This is one of the most fun events in which we have participated. It’s a 200-mile relay from Gettysburg, PA to Washington, DC (12 team members). For additional information and registration, click here.
NEW - Potomac Odyssey Relay (April 30)
A one-day version of AOR, this relay is designed for those who don’t want to run through the night or have limited time. This is a 51-one mile relay from Brunswick, MD to Washington, DC (3 or 6 team members) and ends at the same location as AOR. For additional information and registration, click here.
For non-runners who would like to be involved in the fun, we are looking for volunteers to work one of the 36 transition
sites along the AOR route. The fabulous AOR race director donates $75 per volunteer to Hope Connections. If you
would like to volunteer, please contact Renee at 301-634-7500 or email@example.com
