Team Hope is our training team in which participants raise money to benefit people with cancer and their loved ones at Hope Connections. Team members receive a comprehensive training program to help them prepare to complete a relay, marathon, half marathon or other endurance event. Team Hope members can walk or run in a group event selcted by Hope Connections or participate in any event of their choosing (5k, 10k, half or whole marathon, iron man, triathalon, biking event, etc.)

Teams start between 7:30 & 9:30 a.m.
This is the perfect event for casual or want-to-be runners or runners training for a big event. Thanks to founding board member, Bob Fleshner, founder and race director of RDB Running, Hope Connections has been named the beneficiary Rock the Creek Relay. This is a 30-mile, six-leg relay that will start and finish at Lake Needwood Park in Rockville, MD. A beautiful day in the park, coupled with lots of great people, food and music, make this an event you don’t want to miss. We are now recruiting for 6-member or 3-member teams. This fun event will be Hope Connections' fifth annual walk/run. The "out and back" course runs along Beach Drive and the trails of Candy Cane City in Meadowbrook Park. Walkers and runners, young and old are welcome to participate! To register, click here.
