We offer support to anyone who has been affected by a cancer diagnosis including people with cancer, caregivers, and the bereaved. Our program calendar of events will tell you whether a particular support group is for everyone, just people with the disease, or just caregivers. No referral is needed. You can use our services from the time you are diagnosed until you decide they are no longer needed.
Participants decide for themselves which program areas will best meet their needs. Some may choose to simply visit Hope Connections rather than be alone.
Hope Connections does not have a medical staff, nor do we provide medical services or medical advice. Individuals seek their own treatment as they deem necessary. The program is meant to support the treatment prescribed by a patient's healthcare team and is not a substitute for traditional medical care.
Yes, parking is free at both locations. We are a 10 minute walk from the New Carrolton metro station in Landover. There is bus service from the Grosvenor metro stop to our Laureate Way location.
We follow the Federal Government. If the Federal Government is closed due to weather so are we. We also follow the Federal Government’s Holiday schedule.
Our Programs are Free. Your Donations Make this Happen!
